Boat Storage at Cairnbaan
A & R Way Ltd also have an out of water winter boat storage yard at Cairnbaan on the banks of the Crinan Canal. The boats are all lifted out on a set day in October and re- launched in early April by crane from the canal.
At Cairnbaan we also offer full boatyard services including, engine servicing, systems and electrics, yacht winterising, wooden boatbuilding, interior furniture or cockpit renew and refurbishment and engine repair or replacement by our skilled staff.
Rates for 2026 / 2027 -
Handling charge includes lift out, shore up, wash down and re-launch - £470
Mast removal and refitting £100 / mast.
Lay up for winter £90 /m
Scottish canals charge for 1 full transit to get to the yard for lift out, this also includes leaving the canal after launch in the spring.
