We are embarking on a program of expansion and development in our company.
Later this year we intend to move our main premises to a well established marina in an outstandingly scenic location here in mid Argyll. At the same time we are pushing our unique line of new traditional clinker boats based on local historic designs.
Once settled in our new custom workshops we intend to increase the numbers and size of new wooden boats produced and establishing ourselves as the first choice for classic and historic yacht restorations in the north.
Boat builder opportunity
We are seeking to employ a key worker to help with these plans.
Applicants should be able to show a very high level of skill and experience in wooden boat building, should be able to organise their work, be familiar with looking after a woodworking workshop, machinery and materials. They should also have working knowledge of other boat systems, e.g. mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general boatyard chores such as lifting, shoring and rigging vessels.
